Instructions

  1. Prepare the Raspberries: In a small bowl, gently mash the fresh raspberries with a fork until they reach a jam-like consistency with some small chunks remaining. Set aside.

  2. Make the Creamy Base: In a separate medium mixing bowl, use an electric hand mixer (or a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment) to beat the softened cream cheese on medium speed until completely smooth and lump-free, about 1-2 minutes.

  3. Combine Base Ingredients: Reduce the mixer speed to low. Add the sifted powdered sugar, Greek yogurt (or sour cream), and vanilla extract. Beat until all ingredients are fully incorporated and the mixture is light and fluffy. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.

  4. Incorporate the Raspberries: Add the mashed raspberries to the cream cheese mixture. For a uniform pink dip, gently fold them in until fully combined. For a beautiful marbled effect, fold them in just 2-3 times, leaving streaks of raspberry throughout.

  5. Taste and Adjust: Taste the dip. For a tangier flavor, stir in the lemon juice. For a sweeter dip, add the honey or maple syrup. Fold to combine.

  6. Chill: Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. This allows the flavors to meld and the dip to firm up slightly for easier dipping.

  7. Serve and Garnish: Just before serving, give the dip a quick stir and garnish with a few whole raspberries. Arrange your chosen dippers around the bowl and enjoy!
