Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix peaches + sugar, let sit 15 mins.
  3. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt.
  4. Stir in milk and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  6. Spread peach mixture in dish, then spoon batter on top.

Make the topping:

  1. In a saucepan, melt butter, then stir in sugars, water, and cinnamon.
  2. Bring to a boil, then simmer 5 minutes.
  3. Pour topping over the batter in the dish.

Bake:

  1. Bake 45–50 minutes until golden and bubbly.
