👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Sauté Aromatics
Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add 1 chopped onion and 3 minced garlic cloves.
Cook until fragrant and softened, about 3–5 minutes.

2. Brown Ground Beef
Add 2 pounds ground beef to the skillet.
Cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
Drain excess fat.

3. Combine in Slow Cooker
Transfer the cooked beef mixture to your slow cooker.
Add:

1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup

1 cup milk

1 tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Stir until well combined.

4. Layer Potatoes
Arrange thinly sliced potatoes (4 cups) over the beef mixture in layers.
Alternate between beef mixture and potatoes, ending with potatoes on top if possible.

5. Slow Cook
Cover and cook on low heat for 6–7 hours, or until potatoes are fully tender.
Note: Time may vary depending on your slow cooker.

6. Add Cheese
During the last 30 minutes of cooking, sprinkle 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese on top.
Cover and cook until cheese is melted and bubbly.

7. Serve
Serve hot straight from the slow cooker.
(Optional) Garnish with chopped fresh parsley for color and a hint of freshness.
