How To Make Apple Cinnamon Lasagna Roll

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spray an 8″ x 8″ x 2″ glass or ceramic baking dish with nonstick spray. (A 7″ x 9″ x 2″ dish also works.)

Prepare the Apple Filling
In a bowl, combine the diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cornstarch. Mix well to evenly coat the apples.

Prepare the Cinnamon Rolls
Cut the cinnamon rolls into 1/2-inch strips. On a floured work surface, roll them out until fluffy. The dough is sticky—dust your hands and the dough with flour as needed to make it easier to handle.

Layer the Base
Arrange the first layer of flattened cinnamon rolls on the bottom and up the sides of the prepared dish. Press with your hands to seal any gaps.

Add the First Apple Layer
Spread half of the apple filling evenly over the cinnamon roll base. Drizzle 2–3 tablespoons of caramel sauce over the apples.

Add the Second Cinnamon Roll Layer
Cover the apples with another layer of flattened cinnamon rolls.

Add the Remaining Apple Layer
Spread the remaining apples evenly, and drizzle again with caramel sauce.

Top with Cinnamon Rolls
Cover everything with the final layer of flattened cinnamon rolls.

Bake
Cover the dish with aluminum foil. Bake for 30 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for another 10–15 minutes, until the top is golden brown.

Cool and Serve
Let cool for at least 30 minutes. Drizzle with the icing included in the cinnamon roll packets before serving.
