👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Ribs
Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs to help them become tender and allow the seasoning to penetrate.

2️⃣ Make the Dry Rub
In a small bowl, combine paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.

3️⃣ Season the Ribs
Rub the seasoning mixture all over the ribs to coat evenly.

4️⃣ Add to Crockpot
Cut the ribs into 3–4 sections to fit into your crockpot. Place them meat side down.

5️⃣ Add Barbecue Sauce
Pour 1 cup of barbecue sauce over the ribs and spread evenly.

6️⃣ Cook
Cover and cook:

On Low for 6–8 hours

Or High for 3–4 hours
Until ribs are tender and easily pull away from the bone.

7️⃣ Broil (Optional)
Preheat your oven to broil. Carefully transfer the ribs to a foil-lined baking sheet. Brush with the remaining barbecue sauce.

8️⃣ Broil for Extra Flavor
Broil for 3–5 minutes, until the sauce is caramelized and slightly charred. Watch carefully to prevent burning.

9️⃣ Serve
Let rest a few minutes before serving. Serve with extra sauce if desired.
