Deep Fried Lobster Tails

Instructions:

 

Prepare Lobster Tails:
Thaw frozen lobster tails overnight. Cut down the center of the top shell and gently remove the meat.

Marinate:
In a bowl, combine buttermilk, Old Bay seasoning, and minced garlic. Add lobster tails and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Prepare Batter:
In a separate bowl, mix flour, lemon pepper seasoning, paprika, and baking powder.

Set Up Frying Station:
Heat butter and oil in a deep fryer or heavy pot to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a plate lined with paper towels for draining.

Coat and Fry:
Remove lobster tails from the buttermilk mixture, dredge in the flour mixture, and fry until golden brown and crispy (about 3–5 minutes).

Drain and Serve:
Use a slotted spoon to remove lobster tails from the oil. Place on the paper towel-lined plate to drain. Let cool slightly before serving.
