How To Make Stuffed Pepper Casserole

1. Brown the Meat and Sauté the Vegetables:

In a large skillet, cook ground beef, breaking it apart.

Once mostly cooked, add chopped onions and bell peppers.

Cook for 5-10 minutes, until vegetables start to soften.

2. Add Garlic:

Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

3. Combine Remaining Ingredients:

Add Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, diced tomatoes, rice, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Stir to combine and bring the mixture to a boil.

4. Simmer:

Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring halfway through, until rice is tender.

5. Add Cheese:

Stir in ½ of the cheese until melted and combined.

Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top.

Cover and let the cheese melt. (Optional: Place under the broiler for faster melting if your pan is oven-safe.)

6. Serve and Enjoy:

Remove from heat and serve immediately.

A hearty, cheesy casserole the whole family will love!
