Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until well combined.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Let the brownie bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Slice and enjoy!
