Homemade Fry Bread Tacos

Instructions for Fry Bread:

In a medium bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.

Gradually add warm water while stirring with a fork until the dough comes together.

Ensure the dough is well-combined, adding only as much water as needed.

Cover the dough with plastic wrap and allow it to rest for 1 to 2 hours.

Flour your hands and the working surface to prevent sticking.

Take a piece of dough, slightly smaller than a golf ball, and roll it into a smooth ball.

Gently pat the ball to a thickness of 1/8 to 1/4 inch.

In a heavy pan, heat 1-2 inches of oil to 375°F (190°C).

Carefully fry the dough until it turns golden brown and puffs up (about 2-3 minutes).

Flip halfway through to ensure even browning.

Remove the fry bread and let it drain on paper towels.
