Maple-Brown Sugar Oatmeal Breakfast Bars

Preparation

 

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease an 8-inch square baking pan.

In a medium bowl, combine the milk, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, egg, and brown sugar. Whisk to blend well.

Add the oats, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt to the bowl and stir until fully incorporated.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading evenly.

Bake until the edges are golden brown and the center has set, about 40 minutes.

Remove from oven and let cool before slicing into bars.
