Instructions

 

1. Prepare Potatoes
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish. Rinse and drain the sliced new potatoes, then pat them dry with paper towels.

2. Make Cheese Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.

Whisk in the flour to create a roux.

Gradually pour in the heavy cream, whisking continuously.

Add paprika, garlic salt, ground mustard, pepper, seasoning salt, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Cook until thickened, stirring occasionally.

3. Layer Ingredients
Arrange the sliced potatoes in the prepared baking dish. Pour the cheese sauce evenly over the potatoes. Sprinkle the shredded cheese mixture over the top.

4. Bake
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15–20 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

5. Serve
Garnish with chopped parsley or chives. Serve alongside your favorite protein or pair with a green salad or steamed vegetables for a balanced meal.
