Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the Pecans
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Arrange pecan halves in clusters of four on a parchment-lined baking sheet or silicone mat (to resemble turtle legs).
Step 2: Melt the Caramels
Unwrap caramels and place them in a microwave-safe bowl.
Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until melted and smooth.
Spoon about 1 teaspoon of melted caramel onto the center of each pecan cluster, letting it spread slightly.
Let sit for 10–15 minutes until caramel hardens.
Step 3: Melt the Chocolate
Melt semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals and stirring until smooth.
Drizzle or spoon melted chocolate over each caramel-pecan cluster, covering the caramel.
Let set at room temperature or refrigerate until chocolate hardens completely.
Step 4: Serve and Store
Once hardened, remove candies from parchment or silicone mat.
Serve immediately or store in an airtight container at room temperature or in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
Enjoy sharing these delightful turtle candies with family and friends!
