Instructions

Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef or steak over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.

Add the onion, bell pepper, mushrooms (if using), and garlic to the skillet. Cook until vegetables are softened.

Stir in Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream. Simmer for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.

Add the cooked pasta shells and mix well to combine everything evenly.

Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top.

Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15–20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Let the casserole rest for a few minutes before serving.

Tips

For a more authentic Philly cheesesteak flavor, substitute ground beef with thinly sliced ribeye or roast beef.

Mix provolone and mozzarella for an extra cheesy finish.

Serve with garlic bread or a side salad for a complete meal.
