Instructions

 

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a standard bundt pan thoroughly.

Mix the Cake Batter
In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, vegetable oil, pineapple juice, and eggs.
Mix until just combined—do not overmix.

Bake the Cake
Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan.
Bake for 28–32 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cool Slightly
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes while you prepare the syrup.

Prepare the Pineapple Syrup

In a bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and pineapple juice.

Add the melted hot butter and whisk until smooth and glossy.

Soak the Cake

Using a fork or skewer, poke holes all over the top of the warm cake while it’s still in the pan.

Pour about ¾ of the syrup evenly over the cake to soak in.

Let the cake rest another 15 minutes to absorb the syrup fully.

Invert & Finish

Carefully invert the cake onto a serving plate.

Drizzle the remaining syrup over the top for extra moisture and shine.
