Instructions

Step 1: Marinate the Beef

  • In a bowl, combine thinly sliced beef with cornstarch, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and mayonnaise.

  • Stir well to coat all pieces evenly.

  • Let marinate for 15 minutes.

Step 2: Stir-Fry the Beef

  • Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

  • Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until browned and cooked through.

  • Remove beef from skillet and set aside.

Step 3: Stir-Fry the Aromatics

  • In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.

  • Add minced garlic and ginger. Stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Step 4: Cook the Vegetables

  • Add sliced onions and bell pepper.

  • Stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until vegetables soften and slightly char.

Step 5: Return Beef to Skillet

  • Add cooked beef back to skillet.

  • Season with salt, pepper, sugar, and sesame oil.

  • Stir well to coat and cook for 2 more minutes.

Step 6: Garnish and Serve

  • Sprinkle chopped green onions on top.

  • Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
