Sirloin steak, cut into thin strips 2 pounds
Red bell pepper, thinly sliced 1
Yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced 1
Green bell pepper, thinly sliced 1
Large yellow onion, thinly sliced 1
Lime juice 1 tablespoon
Chili powder ½ teaspoon
Cayenne pepper ⅛ teaspoon
Minced garlic cloves 2
Mexican blend cheese, grated 2 cups
Olive oil 1 tablespoon
Tortillas 6 to 8

Instructions

Marinate Steak and Veggies:

Place the sliced steak, spices, lime juice, and olive oil in a ziplock bag.

Seal the bag and shake well to coat the steak pieces.

Add the sliced peppers and onion to the bag, seal again, and shake to coat everything evenly.

Cook the Fajitas:

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the entire contents of the bag to the skillet.

Cook until the vegetables are just tender and the steak is cooked through.

Serve:

Serve with warm tortillas, sprinkle with grated cheese, and add your favorite toppings.
