Ingredients:

1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, softened

3/4 cup (150g) brown sugar, packed

1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar

2 large eggs

2 tsp vanilla extract

2 1/4 cups (280g) all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

2 cups (340g) semi-sweet chocolate chips

2 cups (50g) Rice Krispies cereal

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each, then stir in the vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.

Gently fold in the chocolate chips and Rice Krispies, being careful not to crush the cereal.

Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheets.

(Optional) Chill the dough for 30 minutes for thicker cookies.

Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden and centers are just set.

Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
