1 sheet
APPLES

LEMON

JAM
to taste
SUGAR
to taste
CINNAMON

How To Make Puff Pastry Apple Roses

Step 1
Peel, core, and thinly slice apples.

Step 2
To prevent browning, immerse apple slices in a bowl of water with a squeeze of lemon juice and sugar.

Step 3
Gently cook apple slices in the microwave for 3 minutes on high power or blanch them briefly in boiling water. Drain.

Step 4
Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). Cut puff pastry into long strips.

Step 5
Spread a thin layer of apricot jam on a pastry strip. Arrange apple slices overlapping on the jam, starting from one end of the pastry.

Step 6
Fold a small strip of pastry over the apple slices.

Step 7
Carefully roll up the pastry to form a rose shape.

Step 8
Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.

Step 9
Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown and puffed.

Step 10
Let cool slightly before serving. Dust generously with icing sugar.
