🍩 Sweet Fritters (Bottle Method)

Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the Batter
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.

Add in the milk, egg, and vanilla extract. Stir until you have a smooth batter. It should be thick but not too sticky. If you want, fold in any extras like raisins or chocolate chips at this point.

Step 2: Heat the Oil
In a deep skillet or large pan, heat about 2–3 inches of vegetable oil over medium heat. To test if the oil is ready, drop a tiny bit of batter into it — if it sizzles and rises, you’re good to go!

Step 3: Use the Bottle to Shape the Fritters
Here’s the fun part! Fill an empty plastic bottle (like a soda bottle or water bottle) with the batter.

Cut the tip of the bottle off slightly to control the flow, and squeeze the batter into the hot oil, forming round fritters or even fun shapes like spirals (get creative!).

Fry the fritters for about 2–3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.

Step 4: Drain and Dust
Use a slotted spoon to transfer the fritters to a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.

While they’re still warm, dust them generously with powdered sugar.

💡 Tips:
If you don’t have a bottle, you can also spoon the batter into the oil using a spoon or an ice cream scoop.

For extra flavor, you can add a splash of vanilla or a pinch of nutmeg to the batter.

To make them extra indulgent, drizzle with chocolate sauce, caramel, or even a little honey.

Want to make a savory version with cheese or herbs? Or maybe turn them into mini donut holes? Let me know — I’m ready to tweak this for you! 😎
