  • 1 sheet puff pastry (store-bought or homemade, thawed if frozen)

  • 4 oz (115g) cream cheese (softened)

  • 2 oz (60g) smoked salmon, thinly sliced

  • 1/4 cup (60g) sour cream or crème fraîche

  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tsp dried dill)

  • 1 tbsp lemon zest

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

  • Fresh dill for garnish (optional)

  • Capers (optional, for garnish)
