Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for a few minutes.
In a medium bowl, whisk the melted butter and sugar together until smooth.
Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder, then mix everything together until smooth and lump-free.
If you want extra fudgy brownies, fold in the chocolate chips at this stage.
Lightly grease a 7-inch round pan or any small oven-safe baking dish that fits comfortably into your air fryer basket.
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread it out evenly.
Place the pan into the air fryer basket and air fry at 320°F (160°C) for 15-18 minutes, checking at the 15-minute mark.
Use a toothpick to check for doneness. Insert it into the center—if it comes out with a few moist crumbs, the brownies are done. If it comes out clean, they may be slightly overcooked.
Let the brownies cool in the pan for a few minutes before removing.
For extra indulgence, you can top them with a scoop of ice cream or drizzle with caramel sauce.
Don’t overbake! Air fryer cooking times may vary depending on your model, so start checking at the 15-minute mark to avoid dry brownies.
You can also add nuts like walnuts or pecans for extra texture if you like.
If you prefer a slightly cakier brownie, you can use a bit more flour (about 2 tablespoons).
These Air Fryer Brownies are perfectly fudgy and moist, with a crispy edge. In just 20 minutes, you’ll have a delicious treat without the wait or mess of traditional baking. Enjoy!
