Pour some lemon juice into a small bowl.
Soak a clean cloth in the juice for at least five minutes.
Wrap the soaked cloth tightly around the affected tap area, ensuring all limescale spots are covered. Secure it in place with a rubber band.
Leave the cloth on for at least 10 minutes. Occasionally squeeze it to release more acid onto the tap.
Remove the cloth and gently wipe away the loosened limescale—it should come off easily.
Buff the tap with a clean, dry cloth to restore its shine.
To prevent limescale from building up again, regularly clean your taps using this lemon juice technique. Additionally, wiping them down after each use can help keep them sparkling and limescale-free.
