Directions
Start by cleaning the bowls and vases thoroughly to remove any dirt or labels. Let them dry completely.
Use sandpaper to lightly scuff the surfaces of the bowls and vases. This will help the paint adhere better.
Lay down old newspaper or a drop cloth in a well-ventilated area to protect your work surface.
Spray paint the outside of the bowls and vases in your chosen colors. You may need to apply several coats for full coverage. Allow each coat to dry completely before applying the next.
Once the paint is dry, apply a clear outdoor sealant spray to protect the paint from weather elements. Let it dry according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Apply a strong adhesive to the rim of a vase and place a bowl upside down on top of it to form the mushroom cap. Hold them together until the adhesive sets.
Repeat the process with the remaining bowls and vases to create a variety of mushroom sizes and colors.
Allow the adhesive to cure completely before placing the mushrooms outdoors.

Variations & Tips
To add even more personality to your garden mushrooms, consider using different sizes and shapes of bowls and vases for a more eclectic look. You can also experiment with different painting techniques, such as adding polka dots or stripes to the mushroom caps for a fun twist. If you prefer a more natural look, opt for earthy tones or even a faux stone finish. For added stability, you can partially bury the vase stems in the soil or use heavier bases to prevent them from tipping over in windy conditions.
