CROCK POT SMOTHERED PORK CHOPS

4 bone-in pork chops (1″ thick)

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

½ tsp smoked paprika

½ tsp salt & pepper

2 onions, thinly sliced

2 cups beef broth

¼ cup flour
-
3 tbsp butter
-
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp thyme

👩🍳 EASY STEPS
1. Brown the Chops

Season chops, sear in skillet 2 mins per side (optional but recommended).
2. Make Gravy Base

Cook onions in butter until soft (~5 mins).

Stir in flour, cook 1 min.

Whisk in broth, Worcestershire, and thyme.
3. Slow Cook to Perfection

Layer in crockpot: gravy → chops → more gravy.

Cook on LOW 6-8 hrs or HIGH 3-4 hrs.

Stir in cream (if using) before serving.
💡 PRO TIPS
🔸 Extra tender? Use shoulder chops
🔸 No sear? Still works (just pat chops dry)
🔸 Gravy too thin? Mix 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water, stir in last 30 mins
