🔄 Instructions:

  1. Make the Dough:

    • In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.

    • Add warm milk and egg, then mix until a dough forms.

    • Knead in the softened butter until smooth (about 5–7 min).

    • Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

  2. Shape the Twists:

    • Punch down the dough and divide into 8–10 pieces.

    • Roll each piece into a rope (about 8 inches), then twist it tightly and press ends to seal.

  3. Second Rise:

    • Let twisted donuts rest for 15–20 minutes on a floured surface.

  4. Fry:

    • Heat oil in a deep pan to 340–350°F (170–180°C).

    • Fry donuts in batches, turning until golden brown on all sides (about 2–3 minutes each side).

    • Drain on paper towels.

  5. Coat:
