🧑‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Make the crust:

    • In a medium bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs and sugar.

    • Add melted butter and mix until it resembles wet sand.

    • Press into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie dish.

    • Bake for 8 minutes, then let it cool slightly.

  3. Prepare the filling:

    • In a large bowl, whisk melted butter with both sugars until smooth.

    • Add eggs and vanilla, whisking until well combined.

    • Stir in flour and salt until just combined.

    • Fold in chocolate chips.

    • Pour filling into pre-baked crust.

  4. Make the crumble topping:

    • In a bowl, combine flour and sugars.

    • Cut in cold butter using a fork or pastry cutter until mixture forms coarse crumbs.

    • Stir in chocolate chips.

    • Sprinkle crumble evenly over the filling.

  5. Bake the pie:

    • Bake for 35–40 minutes, until the center is set and the topping is golden.

    • If the edges of the crust brown too quickly, cover them with foil halfway through baking.

  6. Cool & serve:

    • Let the pie cool for at least 1 hour before slicing.

    • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
