Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle (if not already shaped).

Spread the chocolate evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a 1/2-inch border around the edges.

Roll it up from the long side into a tight log (like a jelly roll). You can also fold it like a book for a different look.

Cut the roll in half lengthwise (youâll have two long pieces). Twist the two pieces together, chocolate-side up, like a braid or rope.

Place on baking sheet and bake for 20â25 minutes, or until golden and puffed.

Cool slightly, then slice and serve warm.
Optional Upgrades:

Dust with powdered sugar.

Add a sprinkle of sea salt or chopped hazelnuts before baking.

Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
