🔄 Instructions:

Prep the Eggs:

In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Add any veggies or herbs if using.

Cook the Frittata:

Heat butter or oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.

Pour in the egg mixture and immediately place the slices of bread (cut side down) into the eggs, spaced slightly apart.

Let cook uncovered for about 3–4 minutes, or until the eggs are mostly set and the bottom is golden.

Flip and Fill:

Carefully flip the entire egg + bread layer using a wide spatula so the bread is now on the bottom.

Sprinkle cheese over the egg side and add bacon, ham, or any desired fillings.

Fold the egg edges inward over the filling.

Form the Sandwich:

Fold one bread slice over the other to close the sandwich.

Press gently with the spatula and cook for another minute until golden and melted inside.

Serve:

Cut in half and serve hot!
