🧁 Instructions

1️⃣ Make the Cream Layer

  1. In a saucepan, whisk together milk, cornstarch, and sugar until smooth.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens into a pudding-like consistency.
  3. Remove from heat, stir in butter and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the mixture into a glass dish and let it cool slightly while you prepare the chocolate layer.

2️⃣ Prepare the Chocolate Layer

  1. In another saucepan, whisk together milk, cocoa powder, and sugar.
  2. Heat gently, stirring until well combined.
  3. Add chopped chocolate and butter, stirring until melted and glossy.
  4. Pour the chocolate mixture over the cooled cream layer.

3️⃣ Chill and Serve

Refrigerate for at least 3–4 hours (or overnight) until fully set.
