Ingredients:
100 grams of unsalted butter, softened
175 grams of granulated sugar
1 large egg
200 grams of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
150 grams of chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the egg and vanilla extract, mix until well combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden.
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Tips:
For extra chocolatey cookies, you can add some extra chocolate chips on top of each cookie dough before baking.
Make sure not to overbake the cookies to keep them soft and chewy.
You can also add nuts or dried fruits to the dough for added flavor and texture.
