INGREDIENTS
  • 2-3 sleeves Ritz crackers
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 cups pecans, roughly chopped
How to Make Pecan Dandy Do’s
  1. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and arrange crackers in a single layer.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk, butter, and brown sugar. Simmer over medium heat for 8-10 minutes, stirring often.
  3. Reduce heat to low and whisk in milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg until smooth. Fold in pecans and cook for 2 additional minutes or until mixture is thick. Remove from heat.
  4. Use a greased cookie scoop to top each cracker with the caramel mixture.
  5. Allow cookies to fully cool, then store in an airtight container.
