For the Choux Pastry

🥣 Instructions
1️⃣ Make the Choux Dough (5 minutes)

In a saucepan, add water, butter, salt, and sugar.

Bring to a boil.

Lower heat and add all the flour at once.

Stir quickly until it forms a smooth dough and pulls away from the pan.

Remove from heat and let cool 2 minutes.

Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each until smooth and glossy.
2️⃣ Shape & Bake

Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F).

Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Pipe or spread the dough into a round ring shape.

Sprinkle almonds if using.

Bake for 30–35 minutes until puffed and golden.

Cool completely before filling.
3️⃣ Make the Cream Filling

Whip cold cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form.

Transfer to a piping bag.
4️⃣ Assemble

Slice the choux ring horizontally.

Pipe generous cream on the bottom half.

Place the top layer gently.

Dust with powdered sugar.
