Ingredients:
Brownie Layer:
1 box brownie mix (for a 9×13-inch pan)
Ingredients listed on the box (eggs, oil, water)
Cookie Dough Layer:
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
½ cup brown sugar
¼ cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour (heat-treated)
1 cup mini chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare the brownie mix according to package directions and bake in a 9×13-inch pan. Once baked, let the brownies cool completely and then cut into bite-sized squares.
While the brownies cool, prepare the edible cookie dough. In a medium bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy. Add the milk and vanilla extract, and beat until smooth.
Mix in the heat-treated flour (to kill bacteria) until well combined, then fold in the mini chocolate chips.
Scoop a small amount of cookie dough onto each brownie bite and gently press it down to flatten slightly.
Chill the brownie bites in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving.
