Crab and Shrimp Casserole

Creamy, comforting, and full of seafood flavor, this Crab and Shrimp Casserole is an easy baked dish that feels special without being complicated. It’s perfect for family dinners, holidays, or when you want a cozy seafood meal.

Ingredients

  • ½ lb (225 g) shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped

  • ½ lb (225 g) lump crab meat, picked over for shells

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup sour cream

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • ½ teaspoon Old Bay seasoning

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Topping

  • ½ cup crushed buttery crackers or breadcrumbs

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.

  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté onion until soft. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.

  3. Add chopped shrimp and cook just until pink; remove from heat.

  4. In a bowl, mix heavy cream, sour cream, mozzarella, Parmesan, Old Bay, salt, and pepper.

  5. Gently fold in shrimp mixture and crab meat.

  6. Transfer mixture to the prepared baking dish.

  7. Combine crushed crackers with melted butter and sprinkle evenly on top.

  8. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until bubbly and lightly golden.

  9. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
