Ingredients

  • 12 oz egg noodles, cooked and drained

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 1½ lbs ground beef

  • ½ yellow onion, diced

  • 2 cans (15 oz each) tomato sauce

  • ¼ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 block (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

  • 8 oz sour cream

  • 1 cup cottage cheese

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.

  2. Cook the beef:
    In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add diced onion and sauté for 2–3 minutes until softened. Add ground beef and cook until fully browned. Drain excess grease.

  3. Make the sauce:
    Stir in tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper. Mix well and simmer for 2–3 minutes.

    Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the noodles. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
