Strawberry Cheesecake Turnovers
Ingredients
Filling

4 oz (115 g) cream cheese, softened

¼ cup sugar
-
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
-
1 cup strawberry pie filling or chopped fresh strawberries + 2 tablespoons sugar
Pastry
-
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Optional Glaze
-
½ cup powdered sugar
-
1–2 tablespoons milk
-
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions

Prepare the Filling
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
Gently fold in strawberry filling or sweetened strawberries. -
Prepare the Pastry
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Unfold puff pastry and cut into 4 equal squares. -
Fill & Fold
Spoon 1–2 tablespoons of filling into the center of each square.
Fold into triangles and press edges with a fork to seal. -
Egg Wash
Brush tops with beaten egg for a golden finish. -
Bake
Place on a lined baking sheet.
Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown. -
Glaze (Optional)
Whisk glaze ingredients and drizzle over warm turnovers.

Don’t overfill—this prevents leaking.

Swap strawberries for blueberry, cherry, or peach filling.
