Instructions:
Step 1: Preheat the Air Fryer
Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for about 3 minutes. While it’s heating up, prepare your brownie batter.
Step 2: Mix the Wet Ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Step 3: Add the Dry Ingredients
In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until combined. If you’re using chocolate chips, fold them in now.
Step 4: Prepare the Baking Pan
Grease an air fryer-safe baking pan (about 6-7 inches in diameter) or line it with parchment paper for easy removal. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
Step 5: Air Fry the Brownies
Place the pan in the preheated air fryer basket. Air fry at 320°F (160°C) for about 15-20 minutes, checking for doneness at the 15-minute mark. You can test the brownies by inserting a toothpick—if it comes out with a few moist crumbs (but not wet batter), they’re done.
Step 6: Let the Brownies Cool
Remove the pan from the air fryer and let the brownies cool in the pan for 5-10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. This helps set the texture.
Step 7: Slice and Enjoy!
Once the brownies have cooled, slice them into squares and enjoy the fudgy, moist goodness!
