Instructions:
Preheat the Air Fryer:
Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
Prepare the Ramekins:
Lightly grease each ramekin or silicone mold with cooking spray or oil to prevent sticking.
Add 2-3 tablespoons of water into each ramekin. The water will create the steaming effect needed for poaching.
Add the Eggs:
Crack one egg into each ramekin, being careful not to break the yolk.
Sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper over the eggs for seasoning.
Place in the Air Fryer:
Carefully place the ramekins in the air fryer basket.
Close the air fryer and cook for 5-6 minutes for a soft yolk or 7-8 minutes for a firmer yolk. (Cooking time may vary depending on your air fryer model.)
Check the Eggs:
Open the air fryer and gently jiggle the ramekin to check the egg whites. They should be set, and the yolk should be slightly wobbly for a classic poached egg.
If necessary, cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
Remove and Serve:
Carefully remove the ramekins from the air fryer (use oven mitts as they will be hot).
Gently scoop out the poached eggs with a spoon or slide them onto a plate.
Serve and Enjoy:
Serve your air fryer poached eggs over toast, with avocado, or topped with fresh herbs.
They also pair beautifully with a salad, roasted veggies, or as part of a hearty breakfast plate.
Tips:
Enjoy a perfectly poached egg with minimal effort and no mess—your air fryer is your new breakfast best friend! 🍳
