Instructions:
Step 1: Cook the Bacon
In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until it’s crispy. Remove the bacon from the pan and set it aside on a paper towel-lined plate to drain. Once cooled, crumble it into small pieces.

Step 2: Sear the Chicken
In the same skillet, add the olive oil and heat over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides. Sear the chicken for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F). Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.

Step 3: Sauté the Garlic and Spinach
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, until fragrant. Then add the fresh spinach and cook for about 2-3 minutes, until it wilts down.

Step 4: Make the Creamy Sauce
Once the spinach is wilted, pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir to combine and bring the sauce to a simmer. Let it cook for about 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).

Step 5: Combine and Serve
Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, spoon some of the creamy spinach sauce over the top, and sprinkle with the crumbled bacon. Let everything simmer for another 2-3 minutes to ensure the chicken is coated in the sauce.

Step 6: Garnish and Serve
Serve the bacon spinach chicken immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese or a sprinkle of fresh herbs, if desired. Pair it with roasted potatoes, rice, or a simple salad for a complete meal.
