1 sheet of puff pastry (store-bought)

1 cup of fresh or canned pineapple chunks (drained if using canned)

2 tablespoons of sugar (optional, depending on sweetness of the pineapple)

1 tablespoon of cornstarch (optional, for thickening the pineapple filling)

1 egg (for egg wash)

Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)
