Juice of 1 lime
2 cloves of garlic (crushed)
1 teaspoon grated turmeric
1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
3 whole cloves
1½ cups water
1 teaspoon honey (optional)
Boil the water.
Add turmeric, ginger, and cloves. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and add crushed garlic and lime juice.
Let it cool slightly, then add honey if desired.
Strain and sip slowly.
