Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

  2. Prepare the cauliflower: Wash and cut the cauliflower into florets. Try to keep them about the same size for even baking.

  3. Season the cauliflower: In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil until they’re well coated. Add the garlic powder, onion powder, Italian herbs (if using), salt, and pepper. Toss again to ensure all the florets are evenly coated with the seasonings.

  4. Add Parmesan: Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the cauliflower and toss gently so that the cheese sticks to the florets.

  5. Bake: Spread the cauliflower in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cauliflower is golden brown and crispy around the edges. You can flip the florets halfway through baking for even cooking.

  6. Serve: Once the cauliflower is baked, remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot as a side dish to complement any meal!

Tips:

  • For an extra crispy texture, broil the cauliflower for the last 2-3 minutes of baking.

  • You can also add a sprinkle of crushed red pepper flakes for a bit of heat.
