Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare the pastry: Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. If it’s already rolled, just unfold it.
Add sugar: Sprinkle the sugar evenly over the entire surface of the puff pastry. Optionally, add a sprinkle of cinnamon for extra flavor.
Fold the edges: Starting from each side of the pastry, fold the edges in towards the center. Continue folding until both sides meet in the middle.
Roll the pastry: Now, starting from one edge, gently roll the pastry toward the center until it forms a log shape.
Slice: Slice the rolled pastry into 1/2-inch wide pieces.
Bake: Arrange the slices on your prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
Cool and enjoy: Let the palmiers cool for a few minutes before serving. They’ll be sweet, crispy, and perfect with a cup of tea!
Enjoy your homemade Prussians (Palmiers)!
