1 lb (450g) ground meat (beef, pork, chicken, or turkey)
1/2 cup breadcrumbs (you can use store-bought or quickly make your own from day-old bread)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tablespoon dried Italian seasoning or fresh herbs (such as parsley, basil, or oregano)
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil (for frying)
Optional: 1/4 cup milk or water (for extra juiciness)
