8 slices of white or whole wheat bread (crusts removed)
100g cream cheese (or soft cheese of your choice)
4 slices of deli ham (or your preferred cold cuts)
4 slices of cheese (like mozzarella, cheddar, or Swiss)
1/2 cup fresh spinach or arugula (optional)
1/2 teaspoon mustard (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
A few drops of olive oil or butter for a quick toasting (optional)
