Acrylic bathtubs require gentle care, as harsh cleaners can damage their surface. A natural and effective alternative is grapefruit.
Cut a grapefruit in half, sprinkle sugar on the cut side, and scrub the bathtub’s surface. The fruit removes dirt effectively while leaving a fresh, pleasant scent behind—without harming the acrylic.
Over time, small scratches can appear on pans from utensils or abrasive cleaning. While they can’t be completely removed, they can be made less noticeable.
Heat the pan on the stove, pour in some milk, and warm it gently. The proteins in the milk form a thin film that fills shallow scratches, improving the pan’s appearance.
Kitchen towels accumulate grease, food stains, and unpleasant odors faster than any other textile. Instead of throwing them away, try soaking them in vinegar.
Mix vinegar with warm water and soak the towels for 20–30 minutes. Then wash them in the washing machine using a regular cycle. Vinegar breaks down grease, removes odors, and softens fabric, making towels cleaner and fresher.
These simple household tricks prove that effective solutions don’t have to be complicated or expensive. Often, the most ingenious ideas use everyday ingredients you already have at home.
