- 100 g (3.5 oz) white caster sugar superfine sugar
- 75 g (2.6 oz) salted butter room temperature
- 2 medium free-range eggs
- 100 g (3.5 oz) self-raising white flour self rising flour sieved

- 1 large green eating apple peeled and cubed
- 2 tbsp runny honey
