This 4-Ingredient Slow Cooker Hamburger Gravy is rich, savory, creamy, and incredibly easy to make with pantry-friendly ingredients.
It is the kind of cozy ground beef dinner that works on busy weeknights, chilly weekends, or any night when you want something hearty over mashed potatoes, rice, noodles, or warm biscuits.
With just a few basic ingredients, the slow cooker turns browned ground beef into a thick, homestyle gravy that tastes like it simmered all afternoon.
Ingredients
- 1 lb / 450 g ground beef
- 1 packet / about 30 g brown gravy mix
- 1 can / 10.5 oz / 300 g cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup / 240 ml beef broth
Instructions
-
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it is browned and no longer pink, breaking it apart as it cooks.
-
Drain off any extra grease, then place the cooked beef into the slow cooker.
-
Add the brown gravy mix, cream of mushroom soup, and beef broth to the slow cooker.
-
Stir everything together until the beef is evenly coated and the gravy mixture looks smooth and well combined.
-
Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 7 hours, or on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours.
-
Stir the gravy well before serving so the sauce is creamy and evenly mixed.
-
Serve hot over mashed potatoes, rice, biscuits, toast, or egg noodles.
