These 3-Ingredient Beef Cracker Bites are the kind of easy appetizer that disappears fast from the tray. They are crispy, cheesy, savory, and perfect for game day, holidays, casual parties, after-school snacks, or any time you need a quick finger food without a long prep list.
The beauty of this recipe is how much flavor you get from just a few basic ingredients.
Buttery crackers bring crunch, seasoned beef adds a hearty bite, and sharp cheddar melts into a bubbly topping that holds everything together. It is simple comfort food in snack-size form.
Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef 90/10
- 48 buttery round crackers
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
-
Place a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook for 6-8 minutes, breaking it into small crumbles as it browns.
-
Once the beef is fully cooked, drain off any excess grease. Let the beef cool for 2-3 minutes.
-
Arrange the buttery round crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
-
Spoon about 1 tablespoon of cooked beef onto each cracker.
-
Top each beef-covered cracker with a generous pinch of shredded sharp cheddar cheese.
-
Bake for 6-8 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted, bubbly, and lightly glossy.
-
Remove from the oven and let the bites cool for 2 minutes before serving so the cheese can set slightly.
