I still remember waking in the middle of the night and noticing something strange on my bed sheets in the faint glow of city light. There was a small cluster of translucent beads stuck together, almost like tiny grapes, and my heart started pounding immediately. My first thought was that they might be insect eggs or something dangerous, and panic took over before I had any real explanation. I grabbed my phone and tried to stay calm, but my mind was already rushing toward the worst possible conclusions.
Later, after I posted a photo online, a friend responded and explained that the beads were most likely filler leaking from my weighted blanket after washing. When I checked more carefully, I realized that was exactly what had happened. The fear disappeared almost instantly, replaced by relief, disbelief, and a slightly embarrassed laugh once I understood how harmless it really was.
